A personal mission to shine a light on students and patients whose potential is limited only by access.
Nur Sarah Kader grew up in a family of philanthropists who believed in lifting others through education. As a Bangladeshi American high school student, she recognized how cultural pride and community support could open doors for peers who needed targeted mentoring, resource guidance, and confidence.
She founded The One Light Foundation (OLF) to continue that tradition -- a commitment to spark opportunity, empower communities, and make sure that personal potential never dims for lack of support. What started with scholarship navigation and academic coaching now powers clinical outreach, patient advocacy, and health equity.
